Downtown Raleigh is the fastest growing urban area in the state of NC. Rapid population growth in the Triangle area and seemingly never ending suburban sprawl has brought about renewed interest in downtown living. Formed in 2006, the Downtown Raleigh Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting downtown living through unbiased information.
