Quorum Center
The red-brown-brick of Quorum Center, with its' fifteen stories of offices and condos, is seen rising at the South-East tip of Glenwood South. The first in a series of mid-rise projects expected to extend the city’s center towards Glenwood South, this mixed-use development is the work of Raleigh's own Reynolds & Reynolds.
Located at Harrington and Jones Streets, near the Powerhouse Square, Quorum Center is situated in one of Raleigh’s most stylish locations. Glenwood South is the epitome of convenient living: within minutes of Downtown, the Five Points area, the Museum District, parks, stadiums and North Carolina State and Shaw Universities. Enjoy shopping, dining, arts and entertainment, all within a pleasant stroll. The rich nightlife of this district, not to mention the great views, add an additional layer of appeal to Quorum Center's condo units.
Since its’ conception, Quorum Center has been upgraded to a 15-story, 300,000 square feet high-rise. Quorum Center’s ground floor features a conference center, retail/gallery space, and a lobby where a banking institution will operate one of its branches. Six stories of office space, including the NC League of Municipalities, will be included, with seven stories of residential living space on top, for a total of 263,500 square feet. Connected to the tower is a five-story parking deck with 373 parking spaces, and two more stories of office space just above that.
The 44 residences at Quorum Center are of an innovative and efficient design with state of the art standards. Amenities include expansive floor to ceiling windows, with ten-foot ceilings for maximum natural light, plus hardwood floors and other designer finishes, and individual storage spaces. For those looking to splurge, the 15th floor home presents to-die-for views of the city.
And the ever-changing Raleigh skyline equates into an even better view in the near future. This particular area will witness much development during the upcoming years, including the 300-block of Hillsborough Street’s mixed-use 32-story tower consisting of a boutique hotel, upscale condos, and office space.
